Back To School Time

It’s the middle of August, a time of mixed feelings all across the country. It’s the end of summer for many of us. Back-to-school may be next week or the week after. Many of your kids may ALREADY returned to school. Being from New York where you pretty much always go back the day after Labor Day…that just blows my mind. Whether you started school or have a little more time, I think we can all agree that we are all holding on to the last gasp of summer and all of the amazing stuff that has gone along with it. The time spent together during the summer is really priceless, both for the parents and the kids. It really is a magical time for everyone.

As much as we love being outdoors and spending endless hours at the beach, pool, and backyard barbecues, sometimes we all just need to veg out and chill out at home for a bit. There are so many great things on TV today, but I can’t think of a better way to get my girl back into the spirit of school than with daddy daughter time watching Sprit Riding Free Season 6 on Netflix, chomping on some freshly popped Pop Secret popcorn! It’s popcorn time!!

Perfect Snack

There’s just no better snack for TV and movie watching than fresh popcorn. I love popping a fresh bag, grabbing some drinks, and spending time with my kids, just hanging out. It’s just FUN, a real celebration of the simply joys of life with family and friends. Plus, popcorn is such a high-quality snack you can feel good about sharing with your family. That great butter taste doesn’t hurt either, right??? Popcorn time is a great time, indeed.

Whenever we really want to settle in for the night, I always head over to Walmart to prepare. The selection and value is difficult to beat. I love getting the things we use a lot in larger quantities. It’s a better value and it’s just nice to have enough on hand when it’s needed. When I’m picking up drinks, I’ll try to grab a case. When I’m getting healthcare products, I pick up the largest bottle or box I can find. As far as snacks, it’s all about having as many bags as possible! When I’m prepping for TV night with my daughter, I’m all about the new 12 Pack Family Size Pop Secret Microwave Popcorn! Whether it’s Butter, Extra Butter, or Kettle Corn, it’s just much easier to grab these 12 at at time. I can get through a lot of TV nights this way without having to worry that we ran out!

Spirit Riding Free

Spirit Riding Free is a great series set during the 19th century in the small town of Miradero, Texas. The series is all about the bond between a 12-year-old girl named Lucky and a mustang named Spirit. This young girl from the city makes friends and really has some great adventures in this small Texas town.

Activity Time

What goes better with Pop Secret popcorn time and great shows? Activities, baby, activities!!! Make the good times last a little bit longer. Spend a little more time enjoying the moment!
