Finding the best microfiber mop has become very important for the Sweeney family these days. My family and I love our (almost) 2 year old rescue dog Tucker, but, boy does his white fur seem to get just about everywhere! He is a short-haired mixed breed that we adopted after a hurricane down in Florida. What he lacks in grooming he seems to more than make up for in shedding! LOL! But that’s ok, he’s the best and doing a little extra cleaning up is more than worth the trouble.

What We Need In Our Cleaning Products

When we started to search for cleaning products, we had a few things we needed to check off our wish list. We are loyal product users, so once we find products we like and companies we admire, we generally don’t switch too often. I don’t know if it’s habit, creature comfort, or just knowing what works well and sticking with it.

As far as cleaning products go, we are all about products made with non-toxic formulas that really work and don’t cost a small fortune. It’s also a huge plus if the brand creates less waste because it’s good for the planet, right?? This is why we are really big fans of a brand called Infuse, with cleaning products now available at Target (another brand we love)!!

Best Microfiber Mop, Bottles, and More

Infuse doesn’t only make the best cleaning supplies which include their microfiber spray mop (we love the Infuse Hardwood Floor Lemongrass Mop Kit), refillable spray bottles, and microfiber cloths, their products are nice to the planet while also being nice to our wallet. We save money and save on a lot of waste and emissions. One reusable microfiber mop pad replaces the need to purchase costly disposable mop pads. The refillable spray bottle also reduce unnecessary waste and the need to purchase replacements. Plus, you can’t beat the non-toxic formula, can you? Let’s see all the good Infuse puts into its products!

Its Non-Toxic

Infuse has a tremendous line of cleaning products available at Target, and we love them all. All of the products are made with a non-toxic biodegradable formula, which is so important for us, for the planet, and especially for Tucker and our kids!

What this means is that the products are free from, well, the bad stuff.  How much bad stuff does this NOT have? Well, quite a bit. Take a look:

  1. Carcinogens
  2. Phthalates
  3. Parabens
  4. BPA
  5. Endocrine DIsruptors
  6. Butyl (2-butoxyethanol)
  7. Ammonia
  8. Chlorine
  9. Formaldehyde
  10. Harsh Mineral Acids
  11. Bleach
  12. Formaldehyde-donors
  13. Nonylphenol ethoxylates (NPEs)
  14. SLES
  15. Hydroquinone
  16. Triclosan
  17. Triclocarban
  18. BHA
  19. BHT

I mean, who knew there could be so much yucky in our cleaning products?

Its Cruelty-Free

And speaking of bad stuff, the products are also certified cruelty-free! These products are never tested on animals. This is a big deal for animal lovers like we are. Tucker most certainly approves!

Less Waste is Produced

One of the things we love about Infuse is that its smart design makes it gentler on the planet than so many other products are. Why? Well, in addition to the non-toxic nature of their products, they are also all about reusing! Nothing is single use. The refillable bottles and reusable microfiber mop pads do so much to reduce waste produced by single use products.  With Infuse, you aren’t throwing out empty bottles all the time, and the microfiber cloths (like the Bathroom Microfiber Cloth 2 pack are washable! These products are actually built to last, not to throw away!

I like reducing waste by not purchasing single use items. It bothers me that just about everything is disposable. It just doesn’t sit right with me. Plus, with Infuse I can pick up at Target or Target.com. This is a good thing, you know?

Less Emissions Produced

The cleaning products are also concentrated, which means that there is much less to ship. Didn’t think about that, did you? For example, one truck of Infuse concentrates replaces thirty trucks of most traditional pre-diluted cleaning liquids. A little really goes a long way with these cleaners!

That’s a ridiculously huge difference, right? Think of how much less gas is needed and how much traffic and emissions are saved. It’s pretty awesome, and my blood pressure and prospective road rage reduction (just kidding, kind of) thanks Infuse.

It Actually Works

Now, it’s great that it’s non-toxic, of course, but I’m sure you’re asking “does it work?” Amiright? That’s a real question for most people looking at buying cleaning products. Well, let me assure you that Infuse is tough on messes. It’s just a super effective way to clean every surface in your home. The Infuse Multi-Surface Floor Spray Mop and Infuse Microfiber Cloths really pick up all the mess around the house…from the kids to the dog and everything in between! It works great and smells even better.

Saves My Family Money

These Infuse products are made to be used over and over again. This is not only good for the planet and our health, but it’s also great for our wallets, too. This is really important, especially with the current state of the economy. Our business is down, so we need to save money however we can.

Being able to use the Microfiber Mop Pads (just throw in the wash after use) and Infuse Bottles with cleaning cartridge really makes a big difference. I buy these things one time and just keep using them instead of having to keep buying disposable pads and bottles over and over again. Plus, it’s less trips to the store, so I’m saving money on gas, too! The Caddy is also really great for keeping things neat and organized.

It is amazing how many bad things are in the things that are meant to keep us clean and healthy!!! But anyway, this mop actually looks awesome. And while I don’t have pets for the first time in many years, I do need a new mop. This one looks pretty awesome.

Oh my gosh, I totally need this for cleaning up after my dog! She’s been shedding quite a bit lately (as she usually does at the end of summer).
