In today’s high-tech world, smart homes are not only the thing of the future but of the present. From a wifi security camera to a wifi light bulb to a wifi plug to help make “unsmart” things smart, you can control it all on your phone!

Smart Home Products Make Controlling Your Home Easier

We all want more control over our lives, right? Like I just mentioned, the power to see and control so much of your home right in your smartphone is just a fantastic development. It really can put your mind at ease in so many ways and on so many levels. The fact that it’s all so easy to set-up and operate is an absolute Godsend and just a massive bonus! There is so  much power and control built into these devices now, it’s almost breathtaking. The level of advanced technology now available to almost everyone at exceptional values really is something I don’t know I would have seen at this point in my life. It’s awesome, I’m all about it, and I’m here to tell you about some of my favorite products on the market right now!

WiFi Security Camera

In the world of smart home products, a good wifi security camera system is probably your number one product. At least it is for me. There’s just something magical about being able to pick up my phone and, at the touch of a button, see the inside and outside of my house at any time. I can be halfway across the planet, but if I have an internet connection, I can literally see everything in and around my home. Think about that for a second. It’s wild, right?

One of the best indoor systems I’ve come across in the wifi security camera space is the Geeni Look indoor camera. For a really great value with super easy set-up and operation, the Geeni Look has all you could ask for. There’s automatic night vision with clear 1080p full HD for a crystal-clear view even when it’s dark. You can livestream footage of your home 24/7 from anywhere and there’s no hub required! The Wi-Fi is built-in and it’s compatible with all 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks! It’s just so easy, see what I mean? It even works with all of your virtual friends, so control it all with your voice via Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and Microsoft Cortana.

The secure feeling you have when you install these cameras is hard to beat. Just think, whenever I am no at home, be it on business or pleasure, I can check in on Vera, the kids, or my dog Tucker at any time. It’s quite a relief to know that there are eyes constantly watching over everything that’s most important. The Geeni Look wifi security camera is available in either a one-camera pack or a two-camera pack and it really gets the job done beautifully.

WiFi Light Bulb

Another really great convenience and security product for your smart home is the wifi light bulb. You may not even think such a thing exists, but it does and it’s pretty awesome. And the Geeni Lux 800 wifi light bulb is the one to seek out. It has it all and then some. You can automatically schedule your lights to turn on and off and have full control from your smart device. Forgot to leave the porch light on, no problem. The dog gets nervous with the hall light is off, just turn it on whenever and wherever you are. Plus, the bulbs are LED, so they use so much less electricity than a conventional build does.

Just like the Geeni Look wifi security camera, this wifi light bulb does not need a hub, has Wi-Fi built right into the bulb and is compatible with all 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks!! You can also control everything by voice becuase is also works with Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and Microsoft Cortana and offers 24/7/365 control over all of the lighting in your home. The Geeni Lux 800 wifi light bulb is available in either a one-bulb pack or a three-bulb pack.

Wifi Plug

You may be saying that this is all sounds great, but I don’t have or want to buy an entire house full of smart home products. I get that and I understand. As must as I love the Look camera and the Lux 800 light bulbs, I can see how it can be a little daunting. You can start slow and buy a few products to get your started. Then add as you feel comfortable. One product I really highly recommend in this case (or any case) would be a wifi plug. The Geeni Spot indoor/outdoor smart wifi plug is amazing and there’s no better time than the Christmas holiday season than to try it out!!

Basically, this plug acts as a intermediary between any household electric item and your smart home Wi-Fi network. Simply plug the Geeni spot into any outlet, then plug your coffee machine, lamp, Christmas tree, or literally whatever you want more control of into the wifi plug. You can, again, control everything remotely from your smart device!!

Imagine being able to turn off your lamp or turn on your Christmas tree from anywhere! You can even set your schedule to automatically turn your devices on and off. So that old coffee maker with no timer…now can have a timer. Or you can just turn it on about 10 minutes before you come home for that perfect after dinner drink!! The Spot wifi plug can be used indoors or outdoors becuase this rugged smart plug is built to withstand all weather conditions. It also works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and and Microsoft Cortana!
