Slim Jim Savage Spicy

Oh yeah! The Slim Jim Savage Spicy is the newest Slim Jim flavor. It’s so meaty and spicy, it’s savage. Man, he was one of my favorites when I was a kid (and older), and so are these awesome Slim Jims. Dude, snap into all of that yummy delicious snack made with beef, pork, and chicken! The ideal triple play if you ask me. But don’t stop there…add in an awesome amount of spicy flavor that will punch you right in the taste buds! Slim Jim Savage is the beefiest of the bunch! Hello.

Slim Jim Savage Spicy isn’t all about great taste either. It’s about lots of meats! These hearty, ginormous meat snacks tip the scales at 3 oz. Why is that impressive? Well, that’s three times the size of a Slim Jim Giant stick. And with the meats, come the rewards. How do you like the sound of 18 grams of protein per stick? Well, I find it to be boldly satisfying (in more than one way) and I think you will as well. I have to fight to keep my boys from eating it all…but most of the time, there’s nothing I can do to stop it. Dorot Gardens

I have the Ultimate Kitchen Hack for you. Ok, I have to admit…my wife put me up on the glory of the Dorot Gardens cooking hack. She’s a cook, and we love Italian. So…garlic. And fresh is better than powder, right? But garlic is messy and it makes your hands stink when you peel and chop it. So this was always a sore spot in my house during dinnertime. Enter Dorot.

What is Dorot and Dorot Gardens, and what’s the big deal you ask? Well, Dorot Gardens pretty much takes care of all the negatives of preparing dinner. I’m talking about a brilliant idea to offer garlic, onions, and herbs in pre-portioned, fresh frozen packages. That means consistent flavor every time with no chopping, peeling, measuring, or mess. This is just way more convenient than fresh, plus it lasts way longer (two-year shelf life) so there’s less spoilage and waste (that goes for food and money).

Here’s what the pre-portioning equates to:

• Dorot Gardens Garlic
  – 1 cube = 1 clove
• Dorot Gardens Ginger
  – 1 cube = 1 teaspoon of ginger
• Dorot Gardens Basil
  – 1 cube = 1 teaspoon
  – 1 cup of fresh chopped basil = 42g = 10 cubes
• Dorot Gardens Sautéed onions
  – 1 tray = 3 chopped onions

One of the ways we make some great game day snacks with these products is to make super garlicky garlic bread. Some with cheese and some without. Some with basil and some without. Whatever the combination, it’s always bursting with garlic and always a hit. Plus, it’s so simple…why not offer this crowd-pleaser up to the crew? I mean…all three of my kids love it, too…so there has to be something there, you know? It’s also just about perfect in any pasta dish we make.
