Christmas was great this year as always. We went to my cousin’s gorgeous semi-new (maybe 1 year or so) house on Long Island. A lot of fun and my kids had a nice amount of cousins (6) to play with.
Nice, relaxing day. Good wine, good food, good times. We were full before the main course came out, what with all the antipasto, lasagna w/sausage and meatballs, plus the wine and beer!
This is what it’s all about. Sure, that’s cliche, but it’s true. Presents are fine and the kids really go nuts, which is great to see, but at the end of the day, all you really have and need are your life experiences and the time you are lucky enough to spend with your family and friends. Enjoy it all while it lasts, because time flies, things change. Memories and good feelings do not. Hope you all are able to say the same for your holiday time.
