Great Food Ideas for Some Needed Thanksgiving Help
If you are looking for some Thanksgiving help, here are some great ideas from me and Babbleboxx to help with your meal planning. From delicious and easy to make bread and rolls from Bridgford Foods, to tasty bacon from The Baconer, to healthy pumpkin pie hummus desserts from Tribe Hummus, to mac and cheese with 4C Foods panko breadcrumbs, to the awesome I Cook in Color cookbook from Asha Gomez and Running Press! Every little bit helps when you are trying to create, in my opinion, the best meal of the year! There’s a lot of pressure to perform and to juggle many things. You want your guests to be happy and completely full.
This is why I love Thanksgiving. It’s all about giving thanks to God and your loved ones for the great things we all have in our lives. Sharing a great meal is the thing, not gifts or anything like that. I think this is just so important, especially in today’s hectic world. Take the time out to just enjoy each other, relax, and say Thank You.
Let’s talk a little bit about some great products and ideas for sides that will really stand out when the big day comes!
Parkerhouse Style Rolls Dough from Bridgford®
Are you looking for some great bread as the ideal complement to all your Thanksgiving day dish goodness? Fresh bread really makes the meal for me. There’s just something warm, comforting, and almost magical about freshly baked, warm bread. I think you would agree.
My suggestion would be to check out Bridgford Foods Parkerhouse Style Rolls Dough. This is delicious bread dough that you can find in your freezer aisle. You really don’t have to do much to these babies. The pack includes 24, 1-ounce yeast roll dough pieces in a bag. All you have to do is “pop” open the bag and bake them in the oven. Take them out of the oven and serve piping hot with some good, salted butter or olive oil (EVOO, of course). You can bake all 24 to serve a large group (i.e., Thanksgiving) or bake as many as desired. Note that the product should be used within 30 days of opening.
This is a good quality product, as Bridgford Foods Parkerhouse Rolls are Non-GMO, contain no preservatives, and are made with pure cane sugar. If you have some leftover, you can use them the next day to make leftover turkey/stuffing/cranberry sliders!! Hello! We love baking with Bridgford! Don’t you love my bacon, egg, and cheese sliders!!

This wonderful hummus is amazing, especially during this time of year! Autumn just called for the taste of sweet pumpkin with cinnamon and other fall spices! This is a true seasonal delight that goes great as a dip with graham crackers and pretzels. It’s also great as a pie filling!! I made a great pie using Tribe Pumpkin Pie Hummus as the filling and the kids didn’t even know it was hummus! They loved it and asked for more.
