I love what I do. I am able to do things that moms are typically the ones to do. Especially with Vera on bed rest. So often, like today, I am THE only man anywhere.
Right now, I am with Liam and his class at a field trip to see Frosty the Snowman. It’s so cute to see the show and see the kids laughing and loving life. It’s something you don’t get to really see…the pure joy they experience with 17 of their friends. It’s priceless and it’s something I especially appreciate given my past life as a manic traveling consultant. I went from one extreme to the other. Guess which one is the better??? Men, don’t knock it until you are able to try it…life is short and kids grow fast. Take any chance you can to take the day or at least go in early. This is for working moms, too. Time flies…don’t miss too much.
