Most of us love food in one way or another. Some love breakfast, some love dinner. Some love dessert and some love salty snacks. I kind of like it all, but my kids really love breakfast and snack time. They love it, seriously. If they could have 3 breakfasts and 3 snacks a day, they would be in heaven.
One thing that the kids absolutely love is breakfast cereal. They can eat it morning, noon, and night and be very happy. I don’t mind, really. The cereal we get is nutritious and not too sweet. We always try to get something as healthy as possibly, preferably with fruit in the mix. Something like Kellogg’s Raisin Bran®. The classic, delicious mix of crispy, wheat bran flakes with sweet raisins is always a hit for everyone in the family.
Now, as much as we do love cereal, we just can’t let the kids have it all day long. There needs to be more, especially at snack time. There are just too many poor snack options around for the kids that we are always on the lookout for something that not only is good for us, but for something that tastes awesome, too. One option we’ve always loves is granola, especially when it hits all the bases…crunchy, wholesome, sweet, chewy, savory. It’s a tough mix to master but when it hits, it’s perfect.
Recently the family has really been enjoying our newest snack of choice, Kellogg’s Raisin Bran® Granola. We really love this stuff. It’s a new form of the timeless favorite! Think about how awesome this is. There’s bran flakes and raisins (duh) mixed with oat clusters, puffed wheat, cranberries (in one version), and almonds all mixed with some great flavors like cinnamon, honey, and even rosemary. This is real food made with heart healthy whole grains and real fruit.
Even better…you can chow on this is so many ways. We’ve had it straight up out of the bag as a snack, in a bowl with milk, topping yogurt (my favorite) or salads, adding it to baked items like pancakes, bread or muffins…and the list goes on and on. It’s so versatile because the tastes are so varied. Seriously, awesome stuff. Plus, since it’s based on Kellogg’s Raisin Bran®, it’s loaded with vitamins, fiber, and potassium! It is low in fat and provides a wholesome delight in every bite at 200 calories per serving. It provides adults and kids with a flavorful and nourishing start to their day (or way to keep their day moving along).
Raisin Bran Granola comes in two delicious flavors – Raisins and Honey Granola and Cranberry Almond Granola and will retail for $3.99. It even comes in a resealable pouch, which is another home run. Available July 2016 at grocery and mass retail stores nationwide.

My son loves Raisin Bran, so I will have to grab him a box of this. I m sure he will love it.
I just bought a box of Raisin Bran (though the regular kind, not the granola)! I eat cereal for breakfast every day.
We are big fans of granola around here. Even though my kids aren’t as fond of raisins as they are of other dried fruit, the fact that there are other options besides the raisins is a win. Our favorite way to eat granola is on top of yogurt for breakfast.
Raisin Bran Granola sounds absolutely delicious! I’ve always loved Raisin Bran, and combining it with granola is just genius.
Raisin Bran and Granola are some of my favorite breakfast and snack ideas. I can’t wait to try the Raisin Bran Granola.
I absolutely love granola! Raisin Bran is a staple in our house and I’m glad the two are combined! Can’t wait to try it out!
I am not mu0ch of a cereal eater but my kids and husband are, this would be a great one for them to try. I’d love to try it too.
We love Raisin Bran Granola. My kids would be happy to have this several times a day.
That looks really yummy. Rasin bran is one of my favorite cereals.
With so many different cereal options it can be hard to choose. I haven’t had it in forever but it reminds me of my grandma.
I used to love Raisin Bran as a kid. Don’t know why I grew out of it. Thanks to your post, I may have to go try the new product out! Thanks for sharing.
This looks so good! I need to try this as a breakfast option for sure since I’m not normally big on breakfast!
Wow what a great breakfast option! I haven’t had this brand of raisin bran but it looks really yummy. SO many possibilities too!
I’m a huge granola fan and have been snacking on them a lot when I was pregnant. I’ll definitely give this a try when I see it in our local supermarket.
I LOVE granola! It is perfect with my yogurt and makes my breakfast even more filling! I am going to have to try this new one!
