March 25th marks the much anticipated return of the fifth season of AMC’s Emmy-award winning drama, Mad Men. To celebrate the premiere in true sixties style, expert mixologist and Drambuie brand ambassador, Anthony Caporale, has created several modern day twists on drinks enjoyed by Don Draper, Joan Holloway et al.
As any true Mad Men aficionado knows, Don’s signature drink is an Old Fashioned. For an updated spin on this classic cocktail, Caporale replaced the typical bourbon base and replaced it with the whisky-based Drambuie. All of the recipes below feature Drambuie’s secret concoction of scotch whiskies, honey and blend of herbs and spices.
