Super Bowl Party Preparation with #GoldEmblem by CVS/pharmacy Snacks, It’s #CVSGameTime

CVS Gold Emblem 1 Collage 2-1-15Have you heard of this thing called the Super Bowl? It’s a football game that’s played once a year and people make a big deal about it…look it up. But seriously, the funny thing is, people love to have big parties to watch it. People that don’t care about football, or any sports really, seem to get all excited and involved in this. Once you decide to host a party, you have some planning to do. You need to have snacks, and drinks, and all types of food to satiate the masses as they check out the game, and likely even more…the commercials. Some people even get crazy and buy a new, giant TV. We tend to go all out a bit with the food…but I’ve never bought a TV.

When we were planning for this year’s party, we went very low key with both the guest list and the amount of food we wanted to get going. We shot for enough snacks that people have a nice variety, but not enough that they can’t eat dinner or dessert…or that we have to have everyone leave with massive doggy bags. We went basic…with pizza, garlic knots and a salad. We also got our hands on a huge range of Gold Emblem by CVS/pharmacy brand snacks. This premiere food, beverage, and snack line is available exclusively at CVS/pharmacy.

When we set up, we use any and all bowls and plates were can get out hands on…even if it’s a mixing bowl or plain metal salad bowl…it all works for us. It’s eclectic and rustic if you ask me…you know, like mason jar hipsterish. We put out a spread that ran the gambit, to appease anyone with any taste.

Among the more than 250 products included in the line are nuts, trail mixes, chips, pretzels, dried fruits, candies, cookies, spices, juices, condiments, baking essentials, and breakfast bars. They even have coffee!

Here’s what we laid out for the party:

  • Gold Emblem Deluxe Mixed Nuts
  • Gold Emblem Classic Blend Trail Mix
  • Gold Emblem Honey Roasted Cashews
  • Gold Emblem Soft Baked Chocolate Chip Cookies
  • Gold Emblem Pretzel Sticks
  • Gold Emblem Baked Wheat Snack Crackers
  • Gold Emblem Veggie Chips
  • Gold Emblem Butter Popcorn
  • Gold Emblem Sparkling Fruit Water
  • Gold Emblem Beef Jerky
  • Gold Emblem Buffalo Almonds
  • CVS Brand Antacids

It was so convenient to get this all at CVS/pharmacy, and not have to brave the mania of a super market before the Super Bowl. It was really convenient, plus we got all the benefits you know my wife lives by using her ExtraCare card. The prices were great, too. With Gold Emblem, you’re always ready for snack time, lunchtime or party time. We were ready to rock and roll…and it didn’t make us nuts. Now…on to the big game!
