How to Make your Wife Feel Beautiful

Married life can become somewhat mundane, it’s just a part of life. Living together and having to do all the family/home/business/life hard work each and every day can take a toll on even the most romantic of souls. That’s ok. No more does the affection come on a regular basis, because life happens and we all get tied up in completing that next task. That’s not ok. It’s very important to keep the fire lit as long and as often as possible. It’s something I am lacking in and try to improve on each and every day. I have a lot more to go but here are some of my thoughts on how to ensure your marriage lasts a long time but being sure to make your wife feel beautiful.

Compliment hеr in рubliс

Be certain to drop some compliments about your wife in public, as well as brag a little bit about her on social media. This really solidifies the bond you both have because she will feel appreciated and in turn feel more beautiful about who she is. I think everyone likes to see their loved one “crushing on them” in public.

Tеll her ѕресifiс thingѕ уоu believe are lovely аbоut hеr

Be specific when giving compliments to your wife both to her alone and in public. It’s important that you are as specific as possible to ensure your wife truly understands you mean what you express. Take time to be detailed with your wording without going overboard. Tell her you love her laugh or smile. Say her hair looks great or her shoes look nice. It will mean a lot to her.

Plаn a dаtе night

One of the easiest ways to ensure that you make your wife feel beautiful is to ask her out on a date. A date night without kids is one of the best ways to reconnect as you did back in the honeymoon phase. Make this night all about the two of you, no discussing household stuff. This is a no-brainer and it goes a long way for both of you. It’s just nice to get back to being just the two of you. Bring along a friend once in a while, too. It’s always good to keep your friendships alive and kicking as well.

Surрriѕе hеr with kiѕѕеѕ and hugs

Sneak in a little kiss or a little brush of the arm every now and then throughout the day. When your wife is over doing the dishes or cleaning up the living room after a long day, head on over and just give her a little kiss on the cheek. Once in a while, grab her, give her a big hug, and lay a manly kiss on her. Do it movie hero stuff style. She won’t be disappointed.

Enсоurаgе her

This is probably the easiest way to make your wife feel beautiful. Be certain to encourage her talents and goals. If your wife has a dream she is living or trying to pursue, make it happen for her. Perhaps do some household chores as a means to pick up the slack so she can devote time to her goals.

Notice all thе gооd things

Positive praise goes a long way in a marriage. Take note of special things that your wife does for you, for the family and for others in the community. Be certain to thank you and uplift her with positive words to make her realize you acknowledge the good person she is.

This takes time and it takes work. Believe me. But put in the effort and you will be rewarded with a much happier and livelier marriage. You have to do what you have to do, but don’t let it completely get in the way of life as a married couple in love. You know, the thing you guys were pretty good at being before the house, kids, bills, etc. Good luck and let me know what works!

Many men may shudder at the idea of heading to the spa with their spouse, but really this is an awesomely relaxing time for both of you. Date Night Ideas That Don’t Involve Food

Date Night Ideas Without Food

Dinner and a movie can be awesome. There’a reason why it’s a staple activity, right? Vera and I love it. But sometimes you just have to spice things up. You know what I’m saying? Get down, baby!.The same date night can get old sometimes and you may want to try to find some new ideas. At the heart of it, you want to get out with your loved one and do something that ignites laughter, fun and doesn’t completely revolve around food. There are many creative date night ideas that don’t involve food and today I am going to give you some ideas on how to have a little date night, without stuffing your face.

  10. Pretend to be Tourists – take a walk around your hometown and pretend to be tourists as you check out the local stores and views.

10 Things To Do At Home On A Friday Night

10 Things To Do

Friday nights end the long work week. There’s just a universal relief for most people (sorry if you work nights or weekends). It’s time to kick back, relax, and try to be human a little bit more. People LIVE for the weekends and Friday is the super dope appetizer you passed around the last time you went out with friends. It’s the intro and the ice breaker.

Sometimes, however, we also need to either take it easy and really relax or, maybe, try to save some cash every no and again (I know, crazy). Why not learn to take a fun Friday night at home, forget the hustle and bustle of the week and reconnect with your family with a fun Friday night in?

Here are 10 things to do at home on a Friday night:

  1. Homemade Mini Golf – using supplies you have around your home, design your own indoor mini-golf course. This can be fun with or without kids.
  2. Living Room Slumber Party – make a blanket fort with mattresses on the floor in your living room. Make popcorn and tell ghostly stories under the light of a battery operated lantern.
  3. Get Crafty – make some fun crafts using select supplies you have inside your home. Have fun seeing what you each create using the same list of supplies.
  4. Make Pizzas – go purchase a wide variety of pizza toppings, some pizza crust and sauce then set up the toppings in bowls as each of you create your own pizza to enjoy for Friday night dinner.
  5. Have a Movie Night – rent a movie that has been recently released, sit down together with some popcorn and enjoy a movie night in together.
  6. Build a Huge LEGO Tower – working together as a family create a magnificent LEGO tower, see just how big you can create this tower working together.
  7. Family Memory Time – sit down in a circle and take a turn sharing what your favorite moment was during the week, this is great to do every Friday night to reconnect with your family.
  8. Star Gazing – setup an outdoor area with chairs and blankets. Sit down to stare up at the stars and point out constellations or better yet? Connect stars to make your own “constellations”.
  9. Make an Obstacle Course – using furniture and items found within your home, create a family obstacle course and set up a timer to see who can complete it the fastest.
  10. Make Sock Puppets – go old school and make your own sock puppets, have your kids work together to make their own “show” and sit back to enjoy a laughter fest with the family.

There are so many things you can do at home on a Friday night, with or without kids. If you are home on a Friday night with just your significant other, try some of the above ideas anyway! If you’re a kid at heart, you’ll be young forever, or something like that. Don’t be a wet rag, staring at your phone or the TV all night long. C’mon, get with the program, people! As a side, you’ll probably start kicking up that old spark again…which would hopefully lead to an even more awesome Friday (late) night. But you didn’t hear that part from me.

Give it a go and let me know what you liked the most.

Managing The Hectic Days and Getting To Date Night #TheIndisposables

“I’m sharing my life as part of a Schick® Xtreme3® sponsored series for Socialstars.”

Our blogging life can be very interesting at times. There are last minute client requests, the latest fall fashions, social media mayhem, or a last second invitation. Since we live just outside NYC, we are lucky enough to get invited to some very cool parties and events. So many companies are based in NY or know to make an impression they have to hold epic events and make a splash here. It makes our jobs that much more interesting and inspiring. These planned and unplanned “date nights” also make for a happy wife and happy life! It’s great to get out, just the two of us, and, while we are working, have a night together.

Sometimes, though, a last minute invitation that can’t be passed on can make for a stressful day and even more stressful planning. We have 3 busy kids and we run a few businesses from home. There are usually not enough hours in the day to get it all done, especially comfortably. When you through a curve ball like having to get ready and go into the city for the night, well, “it” gets real. We have to get all of our deliverables done for the day, now at a much earlier time since we don’t have the afternoon anymore. There’s some frantic typing and photo sessions going on these days. The deadline is looming large and the nervous energy is palpable. I guess this excitement and fulfillment when delivering to the client is what keeps this job so interesting.

While all of this work is getting done, we also have a very lively and busy little 2 1/5 year old that needs to be tended to. He also not has some activities like nursery school and mommy and me mixed in. Then when the older kids come home, it’s homework, gymnastics, soccer, religion, playdates, tests and who know what else. Add to the the need to get a sitter…hello grandma and grandpa. Can you swing by? We will set you all up and have the kids car pool to their many destinations.

I can get a little nuts, but it’s fun. It’s never boring, that’s for sure. Plus, it pays the bills. What more can you ask for?

When all of this is going on, we also have to find a few seconds to get presentable for the event. Haircuts for me, manicures for her. 100s of outfits changes for her, a clean shave for me. Next to wearing an outfit that’s wife approved, having a clean, close shave is just an indisposable part of my job. When the pressure it on and I need to shave and make quick work of my scruff while I’m juggling the kids, work, and who knows what else, my Schick® Xtreme3® razor is a simple and indisposable comfort that gets me through those crazy days. I don’t have to worry about not having a great shave, ever. That takes a lot of stress out of the day for me, for sure. I know that I can shave quickly and get the job done when I need to, and when I only have a few minutes before we have to catch a train!

I’m sure you have crazy days, too. It seems like we all do these days. What gets your day out of whack? How do you deal with it? Do you love that or hate that? At least you have a few options when you are looking to shave to ensure that you are ready to tackle the crazy days and look the part for date night with the wife. The Schick® Xtreme3® Ultimate Razor, the Schick® Xtreme3® Sensitive Razor, and the Schick® Xtreme3® Refresh Razor are all perfect for helping you get it right when time is tight!
