Improve Your Home and (maybe) Ace Mother’s Day with the DIYZ Mobile App

May is a massively important month for us guys. Not only is it Mother’s Day, (don’t mess this one up, boys) but it’s also National Home Improvement Month. Some of you guys out there are rock stars at working around the house. You can darn near build one if you wanted to. I know many guys just like that. On the other hand, there are some guys that just can’t seem to get it together. Taping up your kid’s science project can be a real challenge. That’s okay, too…kind of. Me, I’m pretty much in the middle. I can do the basics and maybe more, but I don’t normally feel the need to challenge myself in this arena. If called upon, I can usually deliver, but the occasions to do are few and far between.
In my case, and in the case of many other guys, just that little extra bit of help would really mean the difference in getting the job done and having to pay a ton of money for someone else to get it done. In all of my searching for help, I recently came across an app that really does the job big time. It’s the DIYZ app, which DIY newbies and experts alike should download ASAP.

DIYZ is a terrific app that helps dads get the job done in and around the house. The DIYZ app features a large library of DIY projects – providing DIYers of all skill levels with step-by-step guides and segmented videos to tackle home improvement projects in categories such as electrical, exterior, lawn and garden, paint, plumbing, walls and flooring and windows and doors with confidence and ease. In addition to providing directions for all projects, the app also allows users to speak directly with a professional contractor via video chat or engage with a pro over the phone if that’s more your speed.

My first time using the app, I went small. I wanted to test it out and see how well it worked. I also wanted to do something that I’ve been thinking about passively for a while, but never really put much effort into. Finally, I was looking to somehow do something my wife would appreciate as well. I mean, Mother’s Day is just around the corner, and sometimes a card and gift doesn’t quite cut it. I went with, “How to Test Your Soil.” My lawn and landscaping has been something I’ve been grappling with for years. Something just seems off somehow and I was never really sure why. It would be awesome to get that lawn rocking and maybe get some beautiful flower beds in place. The DIYZ app has a solution for it all!

Step-by-step with clear instructions and great videos, the app guides you through the process. Stop, pause or call a Pro Advisor to chat. It’s all there for you when and how you need to use it. It showed me all the tools and materials I needed to test the soil and how to do it. Simple as that. It was great and it really instilled confidence that each and every task I choose to pursue would be so much easier and more successful with the help of the app.

DIYZ really comes in handy for the real world, too. There’s a great analysis showing you the value of rolling up your sleeves by comparing the cost to do-it-yourself versus hiring a professional. Also, to make things just that much easier, the DIYZ app recommends the proper tools and materials to complete each project. You can also easily purchase tools and materials without leaving the app via Amazon. How dope is that? The app really tries to make everything as simple and straightforward as it can be.

I think it’s time for you to get out there and get it done. Be it tips on ‘How to Hang a TV‘ or ‘How to Build a Fire Pit’ or even ‘How to Make a Beer Caddie,’ the world of DIY is now your oyster with DIYZ. I can see emerald green grass carpets and award-winning flower beds in no time. What mom and wife wouldn’t love that?
