Great Ninja Foodi Recipes
Are you looking for a great cold weather Ninja Food Recipes, like Ninja Foodi Chili? When the mercury drops, warm, comforting, and hearty dishes always seem to come to the forefront of our cravings. It’s just innate for us to seek these things out, and one of the best vehicles for reaching this comfort has to be chili. And in particular, this really great Ninja Foodi chili made using their pressure cooker feature. This has to be one of my absolute favorite Ninja Foodi recipes overall.
Ninja Foodi Chili
This fantastic Ninja Foodi Chili recipe is great and it’s so customizable to how you’d like to make it. More black pepper or paprika…no problem! Want to add hot sauce…why not? Darker beer…sure, enjoy! You can even add tortilla chips in the pressure cooker if you’d like! It all works and it’s all very tasty and quick. Figure about 15 minutes prep time (if that) and 35 minutes or so to cook in the pressure cooker.
Amazing Panorama Organic Grass-Feed Meat
One of the key items here is the Panorama Organic Grass-Fed Meats I ordered from PerdueFarms.com. No, seriously. You know I love the Perdue Farms delivery service, but they have so many super premium protein brands, it’s amazing.
Panorama is very, very high quality and it shows. Don’t be fooled into thinking just because it’s chili you can use mediocre meat. You should not! I learned this years ago and it’s 100% true. Just like you should use good wine when you cook or good olive oil, you should always use the best meat and other ingredients as you can.
Ingredients
- 1 pound of Panorama Organic Grass-Fed and Finished Ground Beef (85/15) and ½ pound Panorama Organic Grass-Fed and Finished Steak Strips
- 12 oz. bottle of beer, preferably a medium ale
- ½ can corn
- ½ can of black beans
- 1 small can of green chiles (both chiles and sauce)
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 2 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon rosemary
- chopped fresh onion
- cheddar cheese (shredded)
Instructions
- Place the meat in a large mixing bowl and toss with the peanut oil and salt. Set aside.
- Heat a 6-quart heavy-bottomed pressure cooker over high heat until hot. Add the meat until brown on all sides. Once each batch is browned, place the meat in a clean large bowl.
- Once all of the meat is browned, add the beer to the cooker to deglaze the pot.
- Scrape the browned bits from the bottom of the pot. Add the meat back to the pressure cooker along with all of the rest of your ingredient and stir to combine.
- Lock the lid in place according to the Ninja Foodi’s manufacturer’s instructions. Cook for 30-35 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and carefully release the steam.
- Top with raw onion and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Enjoy!!
See, I told you it’s really pretty simple, but the results are really great. I think you will love to depth of flavor, the tenderness of the meat, and the way all the ingredients really meld together! It’s a harmonious dish for sure, and it comes out tasting, looking, and feeling like you cooked it low and slow for hours and hours! The results should speak for themselves. This is the perfect winter warmer.
