We are almost out of summer and into my favorite season, fall. Sure it’s still summer right now, but once the kids are back in school and Labor Day has passed, we all know what’s coming. In most ways, my wife and I kind of view this time of year more like the beginning of a new one than we do January (smack in the middle of winter). New school year, new teachers, new season…it all makes sense, right?
When it’s the start of a new “year” I think it’s always a good time to reassess both the big and the little things in life. Workouts, nutrition, clothing, work, and your grooming routine. We all can get stuck in a routine, eating the same, exercising (or not) the same, working at a job we don’t really love, dressing the same, and taking care of ourselves the same. While this can be just fine, it can’t hurt to think about making some changes, too. There is always something new and different to try, so why not give it a shot? Nothing is permanent in this life, for better or for worse.
