Went to this last year and it’s great. Nice selection of craft and local beers. All the drinks you want for 4 hours or so. I love beer, but not in a chug, chug, heave way. I actually love the taste. I don’t drink to get hammered but to enjoy. My loves are Brooklyn Lager, Blue Point Toasted Lager and Hoptical Illusion, Chimay, Sam Adams, Dogfish Head, and Magic Hat #9 (to name a few). Man, one day I’d love to own a microbrew pub and restaurant. Tough work, but I think I’d like it. Maybe when the kids get older, given the tough hours associated with it.
Anyway, the festival is March 27th at Nassau Coliseum on Long Island (1255 Hempstead Turnpike, Uniondale, NY 11553). If you happen to be near here, it’s worth the trip. Get tix in advance, though.
