I’ve written about my families love of Despicable Me 3 before. It’s just a simple fact that we love movie time as a family and the Minions & Gru crew are way up the list of favorites. The characters are very lovable, you know? So when it came time to think of some fun things to do with the kids this Christmas season, they immediately threw out some great ideas including wreaths, lanyard, and decorations. One of Liam’s ideas was to create some fun Minion ornaments to put on our little white Christmas tree (this is by the fireplace, the big tree is on another room). We were all-in. Great idea.

The craft is pretty simple, and all you need is some glue, scissors, and construction paper. Get a good image of whatever character you like from the movies. Cut out some oval shapes first for the body and overalls. Cut out some smaller circles for the eyes.

Layer is all up and glue accordingly.

Add either a metal ornament hook or loop and glue some paper or string at the top to hang. You can get creative, really. Since it’s so light, it will attached and hang on the tree with almost anything!

Success…it’s that simple and you can do a ton of them is very little time. Once you have it down, you’re off to the races! The pop from yellow really looks awesome on the tree. Plus, the kids just love it.

All of this awesome Christmas craft fun was obviously inspired by the Minions and the Despicable Me movies. Great fun and great inspiration…and it could be yours, too! The #1 animated comedy of the year, Despicable Me 3 Special Edition, is now available on Blu-ray & DVD!! The Despicable Me 3 Special Edition Walmart Exclusive Version is the ultimate holiday gift with an All-New Mini Movie, Minion Moments and a limited time gift set with a super soft, PLUSH Minion backpack!!!

Caleb is in love…

And what do the Minions think of this amazing gift and craft???

Illumination, the studio that brought you Sing, The Secret Life of Pets and Despicable Me, continues the adventures of Gru and his family in Despicable Me 3. After he is fired from the Anti-Villain League for failing to take down Balthazar Bratt, the latest evil mastermind to threaten humanity, Gru finds himself in the midst of a major identity crisis. But when a mysterious stranger shows up to inform Gru that he has a long-lost twin brother — a brother who desperately wishes to follow in his twin’s despicable footsteps — the former super-villain rediscovers just how good it feels to be bad.

This is just a good movie for the family to see together. It’s that simple. Don’t believe me?? Check out the Hilarious Trailer:

Excellent trailer and excellent movie, am I right??

Look, it’s time to get serious about putting something awesome in those Christmas stockings. It’s the holiday season and what better way to spread glad tidings of joy than with the characters beloved by everyone – Gru, his wife Lucy, their three adorable daughters—Margo, Edith and Agnes—and the Minions!?!?! There are hours of family fun in this heartwarming comedy.

You can’t go wrong with simple crafts that the kids will love doing. Especially, if it’s their idea, they’ll have even more fun making them. These are really cute. Real creative craft!
