Boston Beer Co.’s Samuel Adams brand is unveiling a new seasonal brew, Alpine Spring.

Alpine Spring will be available from January through April, priced at around $7.99 per six-pack, at 5.5%-abv and classified as an unfiltered wheat lager.

Brewed especially for the season, this bright citrusy unfiltered lager is both satisfying and refreshing. It’s the perfect transition from winter’s heavier brews to the lighter beers of summer. Borne of our brewers’ many trips to Germany, Alpine Spring features a unique blend of lager attributes: the balanced maltiness and hoppiness of a Helles, the smoothness and slightly higher alcohol of a traditional spring bock, and the unfiltered appearance of a Kellerbier. The beer is brewed with Noble Tettnang hops to add a unique, bright orange-citrusy aroma and flavor.

Alpine Spring replaces Noble Pils as Sam Adams’ spring seasonal. Noble Pils is now moving to year-round availability as part of the brand’s Brewmasters Collection.

Noble Pils is an AWESOME beer. One of the best I’ve had. If Alpine Spring is anything close, this should be a fan favorite for sure.

As a side note, Noble Pils also introduced me to perhaps my favorite beer glass of all time:
