Kelley Blue Book Names 2016 Car Best Buy Award Finalists

I always seek out as much help as I can get when making purchases, but this is even more vital when you’re talking about something as important as a car. It’s a massive purchase, one of the most expensive you will make in your life (unless you’re a high roller with 6 houses, a plane, and a yacht). This is not something to be taken lightly for the average person.

Kelley Blue Book, the only vehicle valuation source trusted by both consumers and the automotive industry, announced the Finalists for its 2016 Best Buy Awards, which will honor the top new model-year vehicle choices available in the U.S. The premier awards program is designed to help new-car buyers with the sometimes overwhelming task of identifying the best new car for them.

The 2016 Best Buy Awards Finalist models were chosen after a year of rigorous testing of nearly every new model vehicle in America. The 49 vehicles below represent the best in overall quality and value, based both on proprietary Kelley Blue Book metrics and the expert evaluations of the KBB.com editorial staff.

It’s amazing that it’s so comprehensive. This is a great reference to have when you are ready to take the leap and make that big, potentially life changing, purchase.

So, how did all the car makers do?

Toyota leads the pack with a total of eight nominations, followed by Chevrolet with seven and Honda with six cars in the mix. The winners in each category and an overall winner will be announced in November. We’ll be sure to reach out with results.
