It’s the middle of January. That means were are smack in the middle of the winter. Snow, wind, cold, way-too-early sundowns. It’s all here and kicking, hard. January and February can be tough at times. The holiday season is over, the cold is really whaling (though I don’t really dislike the cold too much), and the days are way too short for my liking. Sure, there’s Valentine’s Day and Caleb’s birthday, but that’s about it. Plus, the kids seem to be sick all the time. If you recall, I work from home, so that means I get sick all the time, too.
As we hunker down for battle with the rest of the winter, it’s important to never forget that sickness season is upon us! You get the cough, you get the sick, but it’s never just a cough, is it? It’s the stuffiness, the aches and pains, and who knows what else Mr. Sickness and his evil band of sick-weilding men bring for us.
The bottom line, aside from no one ever wishing they were sick, is always that despite feeling terrible there are things we all need to do. The world doesn’t hit pause because you have the sniffles, buttercup! There are problems, houses to keep, kids to shuttle around, dinners to be made, and work to get done. No one wants to spend their sick days actually sick in bed. It’s almost impossible to do that anyway!
When you’re sick and life is beating you down a bit, just know there’s hope! I know full well and with first hand experience that you can really combat those winter ills by arming yourself with Robitussin®. I’ll give you a great example. My family and I just went on a fantastic Disney Cruise. It was a week into January and there was sickness in the air, big time. The kids were sick the week prior to the trip and was just waiting for it to knock me out. No amount of isolation or hand washing was going to squash this, I just knew it. A couple of days before the trip, I started to feel it. The stuffy nose, the aches, the cough. It was all there, and at the worst possible time. Like I said, it’s never just a cough! I leaped into action and started to take my Robitussin® 12 Hour.
Robitussin® 12 Hour soothes my throat and delivers fast, powerful cough relief that lasts from morning until night. It really allows me to shake it off and get what I need to get done…done. I was able to close out my work, get the bills paid, prep the house when we were away, and get on that boat feeling so much better than I would have otherwise. I was really able to take back my day! For me, Robitussin is the solution for all things cough and treating coughs. I was able to take that flight AND enjoy the first few days of that awesome cruise without the kids even knowing I was sick! It saved the trip for us!
Robitussin® 12 Hour even tastes good, available in orange and grape flavors, sold separately. Please use as directed. Adults and Children 12 years of age or older: 10 mL every 12 hours, not to exceed 20 mL in 24 hours).
